Connecting Social Accounts
Connect your TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Threads accounts to start publishing directly from Cliplumo.
- Go to Connections in the sidebar.
- Click Add Connection and choose your platform.
- Follow the authorization flow — you will be redirected to the platform to grant access.
- Once connected, the account appears in your list and can be selected when publishing.
You can connect multiple accounts across different platforms. Each account counts toward your plan's social account quota.
How Credits Work
Credits are the currency used to generate videos and images. Each generation quotes a credit cost before you confirm.
- Monthly credits are included with your plan and reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- Purchased credits are bought as one-time packs from the Billing page. They never expire and are used only after your monthly credits run out.
- When you start a generation, credits are reserved upfront. If the generation fails, the reserved credits are automatically refunded.
You can check your current balance on the Billing page or in the sidebar credit indicator.
TikTok: Inbox vs Direct Posting
TikTok offers two publishing modes depending on your account's API access level.
- Inbox mode
- The video is sent to your TikTok inbox (drafts). You open TikTok, review the video, and tap Publish manually. This is the default for most accounts because TikTok's API requires review before granting direct post access.
- Direct mode
- The video is published immediately to your TikTok profile without manual review. This requires TikTok's direct-post API permission, which is granted after your app passes TikTok's audit process.
The posting mode is shown on each post target. If your account supports direct posting, you can switch between modes when scheduling a post.
